Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion is one of several young Irish poker aces who have thoroughly shaken up the poker scene in recent years, along with players like Fedor Holz. As seasoned veterans like Doyle Brunson, Erik Seidel, and Scotty Nguyen slowly withdraw from the scene, young European players are emerging stronger, giving tough competition to the North Americans for the coveted WSOP Bracelets and steadily climbing the illustrious All Time Money List.
Taking the initial steps towards becoming a global sensation
While gathering his initial online poker experiences under the pseudonym wizowizo, which he still uses today, Ole Schemion quickly developed the aspiration to become one of the world's best poker players. This led him to participate in major live poker tournaments as early as 2011. At his home game in Berlin during the European Poker Tour 2011, he clinched victory in the €1,000 NL Hold'em event, securing over €50,000 in prize money. From that point on, Schemion proved unstoppable.
