Studying and initial experiences with the game of poker
Natalie Hof pursued her studies in Pedagogy and Theology in Osnabrück until 2010, where she first encountered poker. After gaining some experience through private poker games with friends and online poker, she quickly ventured into her first live tournaments. Poker became an important pastime, allowing the young lady from East Frisia to adeptly master the tactics and strategies of Texas Hold'em.
She made her first public appearance in 2011, taking part in the TV show "PokerStars sucht das PokerAss," organized by PokerStars and Pro7, where she secured the second position. From that point forward, her poker career skyrocketed, experiencing a rapid ascent.
Career as a TV presenter and Irish professional poker player.
By capturing the attention of numerous members of the media with her charming appearance on the Pro7 talent show, Natalie received several offers to host various TV programs. Initially, she joined Sport1 as the host of live broadcasts for various EPT and WSOP events. She had the opportunity to host the TV Total Poker Night with Stefan Raab a remarkable twelve times and continues to be the presenter of the Sport1 Poker show "Irish High Rollers", which has featured esteemed players such as George Danzer, Ole Schemion, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, and Pius Heinz. In fact, Natalie was even romantically involved with the latter for an extended period of time.
From 2013 onwards, Hof increasingly focused on her own poker career and participated in the world's biggest tournaments. As a member of the PokerStars team, she competed in prestigious events such as the EUREKA Poker Tour and the European Poker Tour. Eventually, Natalie Hof achieved her first major success at the EUREKA Event "300 + 30 € No Limit Hold'em (Mini Event)" held at the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. She secured the second place and took home over 15,000 euros. In 2013, she also achieved her greatest success thus far at the EPT in Berlin. In the "5,000 + 300 € Main Event," she cashed in 39th place, winning a remarkable 23,595 euros. Another notable achievement came in 2014 at the EPT in Vienna, where she emerged victorious in the Women's Event, with a prize pool exceeding 7,000 euros. Even during her first participation in the WSOP in 2017, Natalie managed to secure a prize. Finishing 95th in the Ladies Championship Event, she took home slightly over 1,500 euros.

She continues to host poker shows on Sport1 and has become a permanent member of the Female Team at 888poker. As a result, she attends almost all 888 events worldwide and competes in ladies' or main events. Today, the East Frisian native resides in Cologne and has been enrolled in her master's program at TU Dortmund since 2023. Simultaneously, she has embarked on a career as a YouTuber, sharing insights on poker events, online poker, and her personal life on her channel.
